He does it all and he does it for you, the discerning fan who wants to discover original music from amazing independent artists and isn't satisfied with the lack of Asian performers in North American mainstream entertainment. Beats from the East is an ongoing weekly 2-hour urban music radio show that broadcasts live every Tuesdays (9pm-11pm EST, 6pm-8pm PST) on CJLO 1690AM. Since 2009 he has played the latest in underground Hip Hop and R&B from Far-East Asian communities worldwide with a focus on American and Canadian artists. He has interviewed Kev Nish (Far East Movement), DanakaDan (afterschoolspecial), Megan Lee, Mikey Bustos (Canadian Idol), Paul Kim (American Idol), TL Truong (Blueprint Cru), Magnetic North and many upcoming artists. BFTE Media is a non-profit organization comprised of DJ Mister Vee & Movieman Daze who organize and co-organize live concerts in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
