==SHERWIN TJIA== SHERWIN TJIA is the author of 9 books. His collection of 1300 pseudohaikus, The World is a Heartbreaker, was a finalist for the Quebec Writers Federations's A.M. Klein Award. His graphic novel, The Hipless Boy, was a finalist for the Doug Wright Award and nominated for 4 Ignatz Awards. His latest book is the last of a trilogy of Choose Your Own Adventure style books from the POV of a cat, entitled You Are a Kitten!. In addition to his writing, he is also a multidisciplinary artist whose practise blurs the boundaries between performer and audience. Incorporating elements of childhood and nostalgia, Tjia's events create contexts that welcome participants to open and unsettle themselves, often in acts of radical intimacy or unexpected collaboration. He gently seduces participants into regressing and revealing themselves under the auspices of “having a good time”. He has toured these works nationally and internationally.
