==Cheryl Sim== The Fitting Room: Canadian women of Chinese Heritage and the Cheongsam This research-creation PhD explores the relationship between the cheongsam and Canadian women of Chinese heritage born between 1965 and 1985. The final project will be an installation that responds to two inter-related questions; what are the current attitudes, ideas and wearing practices of the cheongsam and how can the richness of these responses be presented as an installation? Cheryl Sim is Curator of research-creation projects at the Phi Centre as well as Associate Curator at DHC/ART Foundation for Contemporary Art.
