{{AAType |Home page=http://kimpossiblemusic.tumblr.com/ |Location=Vancouver |Type=Person |Arts=Arts, Artists, Music, Visual Arts }} Multi-talented soul artist and activist Kim Vigilante was born and raised in Vancouver. She graduated at the University of British Columbia studying Visual Arts. She is active in the Filipino community as well as the Queer community, hosting and organizing events throughout the city. Kim has recently led and worked on a mural project that used her passion for art to solidify a community. In collaboration with UBC's Learning Exchange Program, the mural project tackled the issue of social isolation identified among tenants living at the Oasis building on East Hastings Street and to address the graffiti in an alley behind the building, a scene of frequent drug use. The project was a huge success, building a stronger sense of community and enhanced the social atmosphere.
