Asiansploitation began in 2003 when Gary Chan, Jeff B Santos, and Glenn Gabriel met at the Bad Dog Theatre. It was there, while taking classes and performing together, that they met other improvisers and actors with similar geographic and cultural origins, who shared their passion for comedy.
With improvisation, sketch, and stand-up comedy, Asiansploitation created Be Pacific! (2006), which has launch many more years of comedy on various sold-out Toronto stages.
Asiansploitation’s latest conquest was the Toronto Fringe Festival, where Asiansploitation Spanks The Tiger (2010) won Patrons’ Pick and the Just for Laughs’ Best of Toronto Fringe.
