In the Faculty of Criminology, Justice and Policy Studies (FCJPS), she taught classroom tutorials to 3 classes of 35 students each in a Television course. Lian also taught classroom tutorials to 2 classes of 30 each to first year students in Technical Communication (business and engineering students) in the Faculty of Education.
As a Teaching Assistant: Marking in the Faculty of Business and Information Technology, Lian was responsible for two semester of Cybercrime. In FSSH, she was engaged in Intercultural Communication.
