Thien Vu Dang aka VJ Pillow performs in Montreal's electronic scene since spring 2001. His visual performances merrily mix elements of documentary, fiction and experimental videos to construct a new kind of cinema. The architecture of the living city and the system that regulate the society are his main inspiration. His work is a constant quest to find new ways of communicating through images and sound. He finds in video performances an ideal organic playground for his experimentations. His works has been shown in major events in Montreal and around the world.
 
Coffee, sign up for monthly  T-Mobile wireless ($40 for unlimited). Trip planning and keeping in touch with work at Starbucks. Many business meetings at Starbucks, good place to snoop (intentionally or not). Then again, Starbucks are much different in the US from those seen. More of a meeting place, people are livlier. Cheaper too, with apple fritters.
 
Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, lunch with a nice view, lots of driving in the nice weather & scenery. Need to get some walking in.
 
The Coffee Bean is across the street, been around since the 60s, slowly turning itself into a donut shop. Ofosa (?) beach.
 
Sushi dinner with M & K.:) We were wondering if just they call California Rolls "Rolls."
