+Festival «Musiques et Danses d’Asie»
+Montréal, June 9, 2010 - Asian colors and rhythms are converging in the
+enchanting scenery of the Chinese Garden in the 12th edition of “Musiques et
+Danses d’Asie” presented by Festival Accès Asie in collaboration with the Chinese
+Garden of the Botanical Garden and la Société du Jardin de Chine de Montréal.
+The Festival runs from Thursday, July 8th to Sunday, July 11th at 1:30pm, 2:30pm
+and 3:30pm.
+Artists such as Shen Qi, Deepali Lindblom, Siamak Nasr, Hua Yun, Arashi Daiko,
+Panday Tinig Choral Ensemble and Hailin Sun performing three times a day will
+give the audience a chance to discover the beauty of traditionally based Chinese,
+Indian, Persian, Japanese and Philippine music and dance. This event attracts
+more than 2,500 visitors every year.
+Founded in 1995 to celebrate Asian Heritage Month, Accès Asie formed in
+response for a need to increase the presence of Asian arts in Quebec’s cultural
+landscape.
