enchanting scenery of the Chinese Garden in the 12th edition of “Musiques et | |||
Danses d’Asie” presented by Festival Accès Asie in collaboration with the Chinese | |||
Garden of the Botanical Garden and la Société du Jardin de Chine de Montréal. | |||
The Festival runs from Thursday, July 8th to Sunday, July 11th at 1:30pm, 2:30pm | |||
and 3:30pm. | |||
Artists such as Shen Qi, Deepali Lindblom, Siamak Nasr, Hua Yun, Arashi Daiko, | |||
Panday Tinig Choral Ensemble and Hailin Sun performing three times a day will | |||
give the audience a chance to discover the beauty of traditionally based Chinese, | |||
Indian, Persian, Japanese and Philippine music and dance. This event attracts | |||
more than 2,500 visitors every year. | |||
Founded in 1995 to celebrate Asian Heritage Month, Accès Asie formed in | |||
response for a need to increase the presence of Asian arts in Quebec’s cultural | |||
