Zahra Khan is an international Iranian Canadian conceptual multidisciplinary artist. Materiality is a leitmotif in her artwork that aims to visualize potentiality and possibility, spanning the scientific and the cosmic, while drawing on sources as wide-ranging as New Materialism and Contemporary Physics.


Zahra Khan has received several awards of recognition and excellence from the Canadian provincial and federal governments.

With a Ph.D. in interdisciplinary studies that encompass contemporary quantum physics, socio-cultural studies, and contemporary arts. Dr. HosseinKhan draws on a broad range of sources including New Materialism, Contemporary Physics, and Ancient Iranian and Islamic myth and philosophy in her research.
