Shamsher Singh Sandhu (born March 5, 1951) is a well known Punjabi lyricist. He is best known for his songs penned down for Surjit Bindrakhia,<ref></ref><ref></ref> though he has written songs for many other Punjabi artists including Hans Raj Hans, Sarabjit Cheema, Satwinder Bitti and Gurdas Mann among others.
His most popular songs include Dupatta Tera Satrang Da, Bas Kar Bas Kar, Hit Geetan Da Guldasta, Tera Yaar Bolda, Lak Tunoo Tunoo and Jatt Di Pasand.
Now he has introduced Surjit Bindrakhia's son named Gitaz Bindrakhia with his new songs pay tribute to Surjit Bindrakhia with the song "Baap Mera Bindrakhia". Professionally, he is currently working as Chief-Sub-Editor in Punjabi Tribune, Chandigarh.
