1. Aiming to add another approx. 200 by August 27th, to get 600 profiles! Yes -
2. Mandate, Privacy Policy and Disclaimer - responses were only approvals. So, approved until further drafts are brought forward – Yes until anyone comes up with any problems
3. Design (any updates from David re: new mediawiki version, search functioning,  update on sub-categories (can it be by geography too), calendar removal or traffic re-direct, adding existing wikipedia article information)
4. Categories for the site (10-12 categories are needed for the entire site ie: Artist, Music, Community Organization, Politics, Journalism, etc..)
1. Rob has pulled out report on which categories are used the most
5. Volunteers - who has connections to people who can translate a sentence or our press release into different languages?
1. Elena – will ask about recruiting volunteers
6. Community Portal - any additional files we can add?
7. Geographical Representation - we'll need at least 5 profiles from YK, NW Territories, and Nunavut.

:Wikipedia is world-scale notable, objective. ACW can provide more diverse perspectives, as well as connecting points and stories. acw can create timelines and maps of artsts. Over time, the relationship between artists and organizations can be developed.

<b>Proposed History</b>
:<i>The intent of this site was to gather like minded Asian Canadians from arts and cultural communities to participate in a National Asian Heritage Month Symposium in 2010.  Locating Asian Canadian artists, arts organizations, communities and centres was a challenging process. We realized that connecting these communities required more research and development.
 
The asiancanadianwiki.org was soon created by compiling, Canada Council for the Arts connections, renowned artists, established artist organizations, and re-usable third-party information into a online resource. Spearheaded by Festival Accès Asie, the site was created by a small team of dedicated volunteers to realize objectives for the National Asian Heritage Month Symposium.
 
With funding from Canada Council for the Arts and with your support, our 2012 goal is to “kickstart” asiancanadianwiki.org  with design elements and substantial and credible content. Our hope is that the site will has the necessary visibility and participation to foster connection, culture and community.</i>
