Day’s Lee is the author of the children’s picture book, "The Fragrant Garden" and a young adult novel entitled "Guitar Hero," both of which were named Best Books for Kids and Teens by the Canadian Children’s Book Centre. Her most recent book "The Red Pagoda and Other Stories" is her first book for adults. It is a collection of previously published short stories several of which were nominated or short listed for awards. As a freelance writer, her articles and personal essays have appeared in national and local magazines.
Lee produced, directed and wrote the documentary MEET AND EAT AT LEE'S GARDEN which takes a look at Chinese-Canadian restaurants in Montreal in the 1950s and what they meant to the Chinese community and their Jewish customers.
