South East Asian Students' Association (University of Alberta)

Location

Edmonton

Formerly known as the Federation of Asian Students (FAS), it was established in 1996 as a non-profit organization to unite University of Alberta's South East Asian Students. A few years later, its name was officially changed to South East Asian Students Association or SEASA.

Goals[edit]

SEASA's missions are to help members in all aspects in order to adapt in a Canadian environment and to encourage and provide a platform for exchanging diverse South East Asian cultures through many educational, social, recreational, and cultural events throughout the year.

Whether you are interested in the association or South East Asian culture in general, SEASA encourages anyone to join, regardless of race, gender, or nationality. SEASA also aims to develop social interactions amongst the South East Asian students and communities at both the national and international levels.
