Sarika Sehgal is a Canadian broadcast journalist. Sehgal's broadcasting career began in Toronto as a producer for a national morning show. From there, she served as an anchor and reporter for CICI in Sudbury. Similar duties soon followed at CKEM in Edmonton where she was a key part of the special September 11, 2001 attacks coverage. Within a year, she was on her way to CFCN to co-produce and anchor the noon-hour newscasts, as well as report on health issues. Sehgal also served as an executive producer and co-anchor for CHCH in Hamilton. In September 2003, Sehgal headed back to Toronto to co-host CKXT's Toronto Tonight.

After the cancellation of Toronto Tonight, she joined CBC Newsworld as a host in November 2005. On July 10, 2006, Sehgal became host of the new show CBC News: Tonight. She then became host of CBC News: Today. Sehgal also hosted CBC News: Around the World, an international news program which aired weekdays. Born in Canada, Sehgal studied in India for six years and travelled the world. In addition to being a graduate of Humber College's broadcasting program in Toronto, Sehgal has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto.
