Sharon Navarro is a former television journalist with Toronto TV station CITY, and a former reporter for the CTV affiliate CFTO. She left broadcasting to become a senior consultant with the public relations firm Porter Novelli Canada. She is currently a communications advisor to the Honourable David Caplan, Ontario's Minister of Health and Long-Term Care. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario's Kinesiology (Honours) and a Bachelor of Journalism, Ryerson University, she worked at UWO's daily newspaper and their TV/Radio station. Navarro was co-captain of the UWO Mustang Cheerleading team.
