Éric Bolduc fills sketchbooks with drawings focusing on the energetic anatomy, specifically chakras, subtle energy centres that comes to us from the eastern world. The study of these centres, the search for their location within his own body and the meticulous copying of images of Buddhist and Hindu deities becomes meditation. The original drawings remain in the artist's books. He scans these original artworks and makes digital reproductions of archival quality, inkjet prints on paper 100% cotton, printed at L'imprimerie, an artist run centre in Montreal.
