Rachna Vohra is a poet and spoken word artist living in Montreal, Canada. Her published works include The Distance Within, a book of poetry, and The Acorn and the Caterpillar, a fable about understanding and coping with death. She has been published in magazines, zines, and anthologies; been recorded on CD; and she has participated and performed in a variety of literary festivals, interdisciplinary art events, reading series, fundraisers, and other shows and competitions across North America. Most recently, she participated in the 2010 Banff Spoken Word Residency, performed at the 2010 Calgary International Spoken Word Festival, and celebrated a countrywide third-place victory with Team Montréal at the 2009 Canadian Festival of Spoken Word.
