Adrienne’s primary research interest over the last fifteen years has focused on higher education, institutional change, institutional culture, academic culture, policy studies, and issues of diversity in educational institutions. She is particularly interested in institutional behaviour, the role of policy, the role of committees, and the relationship between human agency and power relations within institutions. Throughout this time period, she have presented at numerous conferences, published reports, a book, and peer reviewed journal articles. Her work in the last eight years has focused on social justice in higher education. Adrienne teaches courses in research methods, anti-oppressive practice, child welfare, and theory and ethics. She has a long term interest in issues of equity, diversity, race and anti-racism. Her academic appointment is with the School of Social Work and Human Services.
