Chinese Students Club (University of Alberta)

The Chinese Students Club is a group focused on promoting Chinese culture and heritage at the University of Alberta by creating a positive learning and social environment for students.

What do we do?[edit]

  • We run frequent social events including game nights, paintball, formals, bowling, ski trips, as well as clubbing nights.
  • CSC also promotes health and wellness by hosting recreational events in gyms and promoting participation in intramurals (Dodgeball, Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, Badminton, etc).
  • We are also actively involved in community events by participating in volunteer activities and supporting charities.
  • Be sure to watch out for our famous Chinese New Year Banquet held annually during Chinese New Year, entertaining over 400 guests and raising money for charities.
  • We will have booths at both the Fall and Winter Clubs Fairs, but you can also just contact any one of the execs, and we can sign you up! Come join in on the fun!
