Konnichiwa JAPAN (known to club members simply as KonJa) is the University of Waterloo students’ organization for Japanese language and culture. The main objectives of the club are to provide a forum for English people to practise Japanese, Japanese people to practise English, and to increase awareness and appreciation of Japanese culture. Konnichiwa JAPAN is open to anyone who has any interest at all in Japanese culture, whether you can speak fluently, or you don’t know what “sayonara” means.
