It's a little more complicated, but the same process once you get the hang of it. When logged in, you'll see a link to [[Special:Upload|Upload file]] on the menu. Select that link, upload your media, and make a note of its file name. If it's called My picture.png, you can include it in any document with this syntax: <nowiki>[[File:My picture.png]]</nowiki>. Note files must also have unique names. When uploading pictures, it's best to use the [http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Images Image syntax], which also lets you control layout and size. If you're editing an artist, you can upload a representative image using the form.
#Log into your account
On the sidebar, select 'Toolbox' and then select 'Upload File'
Select 'Choose File' under 'Source filename'
Find your file, and select 'Open'
The file name or image will show up on the page.
Under 'File Description', add a description or an author and choose licensing as appropriate.
Copy the Destination filename. This filename can be inserted directly into your wiki. If it's called My picture.png, you can include it in any document with this syntax: <nowiki>[[File:My picture.png]]</nowiki>.
Select 'Upload File'
Review the file history, and ensure that the correct file has been uploaded.
The file is now in the asiancanadianwiki.org database.
If you wish to paste this file into a page, paste in the destination filename. (If it's called My picture.png, you can include it in any document with this syntax: <nowiki>[[File:My picture.png]]</nowiki>.)

A better way to upload pictures is to first reference them in your document, for example, <nowiki>[[File:My image.jpg]]</nowiki>. Save that page, then you'll see a 'redlink' where the image should go. Select that link, which immediately takes you to the file upload form.
