Wiley Wei-Chiun was born in Taiwan and moved to Canada with her family when she was nine. Identifying as Generation 1.5, she explores the liminal spaces between places, cultures, languages, and selves in her writing. Wiley is an award-winning author of short stories and personal essays. Her debut, The Astronaut Children of Dunbar Street, a memoir exploring the complexities of growing up in a transnationally separated family where the parents and children live overseas from each other, is slated for release with Douglas & McIntyre in Spring 2026
